A comment I received today prompted this post...

As often is the case with SL fashion, sometimes RL issues interfere.

I am on hiatus from designing for an indefinite amount of time to come. Amaretto will remain open, but there may not be any new releases for some time. I apologize if this creates an inconvenience to any of the fabulous SL fashionistas who are interested in Amaretto. I hope that you all will keep Amaretto in the back of your minds, for the day when I am able to pick up and continue!

Condolences

As I glance at the fashion feed today, I would like to join in in offering my condolences to the friends and business associates of Ginny Talamasca. My heart goes out to you. I never got to know Ginny personally, but it would have been an honor if I had. If the designs of LC/DHC are any indication, Ginny was an amazing person. The SL fashion community has lost a very talented designer.

Hiatus.

I've been on hiatus with designing for a while. Dealing with lots of stress in RL, and now waiting on some goodies to arrive which should help improve the quality of my designs. I should have some new releases soon. Ideas bubbling within already...

Working to complete several new formals/not-really-casuals, for Oct 5 Divine Intervention. Here is just one of those formals/not-really-casuals...

Chariot has a strapless or strapped option bustier with a netted tutu-style skirt which you can wear long or short. It is mod / copy / no xfer.

EDIT This dress *is* avaliable now. ;p

Also, for laughs, another preview of the Sour line, which of course is taking longer than I originally anticipated - due to my doofishness.

Coming Soon...

In case you were wondering, this is why I haven't put out any new releases this week. I *am* working. I intend to release this mix-n-match line of street/punk/gawthwear in mid-to-late October, possibly early November. Its happening organically as most of my projects do, so I can't tell you how many pieces, or give the specifics. I am hoping to include some menswear or unisexwear in the line.

Also, I look forward to participating in the Divine Intervention show, Oct 5 @ 5-8PM SLT. Other designers in the lineup include: Tuli Asturias, Betty Barracuda, Betty Doyle, Shai Delacroix, Kara Eagle, and Haedon Quine. How amazing is that? I am so flattered to be among such accomplished and talented designers.

I've also opened a new location of the store, or... er, rather, will have opened it after this afternoon at some point! So, I will give details on that ASAP.

Amaretto meets Vogue.

It has taken me ages to blog this, and I apologize, but:
I just wanted to plea to my readers and group members to hang in there with me over the next couple of weeks. In addition to a RL job which takes up much of my time - I am in the last stages of planning my RL wedding which will be happening during the month of August.

It is a lot to juggle, and new releases will be scarce through this month.

But stay tuned as I am planning to announce a fun contest sometime in the next several weeks.
